RBKC Adult Community Learning

Nova delivers a range of entry level accredited and non-accredited courses to engage local people in learning and raise skills and confidence. Learners progress from informal to formal learning, volunteering and employment.


Campden Charities

Nova refers clients to the Campden Charities for individual grants. Our advisers work intensively with clients to give support prior to and during the referral process and tend to stay in touch with the clients and provide ongoing support afterwards.


RBKC Corporate Services Innovation Fund and Café Nova

RBKC Corporate Services supports our community café, Café Nova. Café Nova offers training and employment opportunities for local people and provides a community hub for local organisations, businesses and residents to meet, work and enjoy.


Chelsea Theatre

Nova offers Computer Courses on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at Chelsea Theatre to help local people familiarise themselves with the latest digital technologies and develop necessary computer skills to get on track and achieve their career goals.


Housing and Worklessness Project (RBKC)

Nova is an official referral organisation for this project coordinated by the Borough. The aim of the project is for local housing providers to refer clients for external employment support. Nova accepts and reports on referrals. Current housing providers that Nova works with include: KCTMO, Notting Hill Housing, Westway Housing Association, Catalyst Gateway, Family Mosaic and Women’s Pioneer Housing.


Venture Centre

Nova delivers entry level ICT and English courses at the Venture Centre on Wornington Road, North Kensington.


Job Centre Plus North Kensington (JCP+)

Nova is an official referral organisation for Job Centre Plus. Clients are referred to us for help with CVs and all pre-employment support services.


Open Age and Springboard UK (Workwards Project)

Nova is lead partner in this project to support people into work. Funded by the European Social Fund (ESF).


Earl’s Court Health and Wellbeing Centre (NHS)

One of Nova’s employment advisers delivers the course ‘Preparing for Universal Credit’ providing, pre-employment support and advice and guidance relating to Universal Credit for the centre’s service users. Courses run every Thursday morning from 10:00–12:30.


Equal People (MENCAP)

Nova delivers courses to clients from Equal People to raise aspirations and skills. Nova is engaged to deliver these courses to support integration to more mainstream services and increase access to other local services for people with learning disabilities. Through this project, Nova’s existing service users, staff and volunteers are given the chance to aid individuals with learning difficulties and disabilities.


Pure Innovations

Nova delivers courses in collaboration with Pure Innovations to raise clients’ aspirations and increase employability in individuals with mental health needs, learning difficulties and disabilities, and complex needs.


RBKC LD Resource Centre (SCOPE)

Nova delivers courses which aim to broaden the horizons of individuals with learning disabilities, who often also have physical, challenging and complex needs.


Blenheim Community Drugs Project (BCDP)

Nova delivers a course to parents with a substance misuse background to raise their aspirations to progress to formal learning and develop in basic skills maths, English and ICT. Nova acts as a stepping stone to other more mainstream services, formal learning and volunteering opportunities.
